My approach to real estate is a little different. My office emphasizes and promotes Texas living and everything that entails. I have clientele coming from Houston, many are doctors or other retirees who have dreams of owning a ranch or farm. Coming from a ranching background, I offer additional services, such as helping to find someone to manage the place, introducing them to feed stores, etc.

I also promote local builders and businesses. I am there even after the sale to help out because I want them to feel happy about their choice. These people are going to be my neighbors. I will see them in church and at community activities.

I love the land and feel Leon County is a wonderful place to live. This is a small community where people help each other out and care about each other. As newcomers realize what a life change this is and how nice it is here, they want to become a part of it, too.

Often it starts with people who have retirement dreams to get away from the city and to have a place here. As they settle in, their families come to visit, and eventually their kids want to come up, too. A lot of our business is through referrals — customers telling their families and friends about us.
